FAQS

Q1. How much does it cost to renew a Dubai visa?

A1. The cost of renewing a Dubai visa depends on the visa type and duration. For tourist visa renewals, it can range from AED 1,099 to AED 2,499. It depends on whether it is an inside UAE extension or a bus-to-bus or airport-to-airport visa change.

A2. To renew the tourist visa in Dubai, you have many options. You can go for an inside UAE extension that extends your stay without leaving the country. You can also go for an airport-to-airport or bus-to-bus visa change, where you exit and re-enter Dubai with a new visa in one trip.

A3. You will usually need these papers to renew your visa:
  • A passport that is still valid for at least six months
  • A copy of your current UAE visa
  • A passport-sized photo
  • Emirates ID or guarantor ID if you need one
Depending on the type of visa, other documents may be different.
A4. The processing time varies by visa type and the method chosen. Inside UAE extensions are usually completed in 1-5 working days. Airport-to-airport (A2A) or bus-to-bus visa change can be a same-day service in many cases. Destination visa change takes 1-3 working days in most cases.

A5. You can renew your visa using the Inside UAE visa extension service. It is processed through UAE immigration and GDRFA-approved channels. A11. It depends on which route you choose. Inside-country status amendments are often faster than exit-and-reentry options. The expected time of completion for this is around 48 hours, according to GDRFA. If you go for an exit/re-entry with an airport-to-airport visa change or bus-to-bus visa change, it can occur within 24-48 hours.

A12. B2B visa change starts from around AED 999, whereas A2A visa change prices start around AED 1300. This price can change from one agency to another. Fees usually include immigration charges, service fees, and insurance.
